Deep-steamed tea is made by steaming the tea leaves longer than normal sencha, softening the tea leaves and increasing the health benefits of vitamins, catechins, and other healthy ingredients. The powder that settles at the bottom of the teacup contains plenty of healthy ingredients that do not normally dissolve. It is characterized by not only being rich in nutrients, but also by its rich, full-bodied flavor.
